How to use this template for product seeding

Product seeding — influencer gifting — is when a brand sends free product in exchange for content or a review. It feels informal, but a short written agreement protects both sides and settles expectations before anything ships.

Step 1: Customise the template

Open the Word version and fill in your brand details, the product, and the specific content you are asking for. Be concrete about deliverables: how many posts, which platforms, which hashtags, by when.

Step 2: Set clear expectations

Define the window for creating and posting content. For seeding campaigns, two to three weeks after delivery is a realistic ask.

Step 3: Get signatures

DocuSign, HelloSign or even an email confirmation is enough to create a record that both parties agreed to the terms.

This template is a starting point, not legal advice. Have your own counsel review it before you use it at scale, and check the FTC disclosure language against the rules in the markets you ship to.
