- Is Seeding Ops a direct alternative to Modash?
- They solve different problems. Modash is primarily an influencer search engine (Discovery). Seeding Ops is a campaign management tool (Operations). Many brands use Modash to find influencers and Seeding Ops to manage the gifting and shipping process.
- Does Modash have product seeding features?
- Modash has a gifting feature, but a Modash gift is a one-time discount code with a specified budget. The form asks for a title, budget, the products it applies to, expiration and shipping rates, and the creator places the order themselves. Its Gifting workflow has three stages: Sending products, Briefing and Content collection. Seeding Ops collects the address and variants on a claim page, records the accepted (versioned) terms, creates the $0 Shopify order, and tracks Shipped and Delivered.
- Does Modash charge for creator emails?
- Unlocked creator emails and profile exports count against a monthly allowance: 150 on Essentials and 400 on Performance (as of September 2026). Seeding Ops does not charge per email. The creator contact details are your own data.
- What Shopify access does Modash ask for?
- On our test store in September 2026, the Modash app held read and write access to products, discounts and orders (including all order history), plus read access to customers. Seeding Ops requests read and write access to orders, draft orders, products and discounts, but not all-order-history or customer data.
